This class is led by Alex Argo.
This program focuses on restoring traditional Wabanaki food systems that support health, wellness, culture, values, communities, and families by rebuilding relationships with the land, water, plants, and animals that have sustained us since time immemorial. By focusing on the development and strengthening efforts to build traditional food systems we are also empowering tribal households and communities to address issues of hunger and health by cultivating their own healthy, fresh foods.
In this slow intentional Vinyasa practice, students will move mindfully through a gentle sequence intended to lightly warm the body and focus the mind. The class ends with a series of postures held in attentive stillness. All levels and bodies welcome and affirmed!
